13th Wedding Anniversary
Monday, the 21st of January was my 13th wedding anniversary. I was 18 and my groom was 19, we were so filled with love and laughter and happiness. Our vows were beautiful, the music simply incredible, our families supportive. A great night, one that to this day I still remember well.
To my husband, Happy Anniversary honey. Let’s see if the next 13 years go by as fast as the last 13 years.

shooting the bull
I went shooting Sunday with my Dad, my brother and two of my nephews. And I had a freaking blast. My nephews are 15 and 13 and they are so fun to be around. They just fill me with joy.
There were two different guns to shoot. One was my dad’s 4-10 shotgun and the other was my 13yr old nephews 10gauge shotgun.
I shot my dad’s shotgun with no problem. It was actually a real delight to shot. No kick, loud boom, pretty good shot at the target if I do say so myself.
My 13yr old nephews gun however, kicked my ever-lovin ass. Big, freakin, BOOM, big kick. It kicked me so hard that my knees buckled. And as I was going down, I grabbed my shoulder and said with alot of emphasis, *oh FUCK! MOTHERFUCKMOTHERFUCK* and of course, my brother who is ever so helpful, says “do you kiss your mama with that mouth?” Not today brother, not today.
Two days later, and my shoulder is still sore. And a pretty light blue color. And if my nephews were to ask me to shoot that damn gun again? I so totally would. They thought that I was the coolest Aunt in the world.
It was worth it.

Project Runway
Why oh why do you irritate me so much? First you kick off Chris March, who I realize doesn’t always have the nicest outfits, but he is so fun. You redeemed yourself by bringing him back though. Then you kicked off Kevin and his rocking beard. I liked him. And I really, really thought that Christian should have been out with his hideous piece of brown, shitty dress.
You made the right choice though with Christian and Chris’s avant garde dress. It was amazing. Wasn’t real thrilled with Kit & Ricky’s outfit, so I can understand kicking Kit off. But I really thought that Ricky should have left too. And all this time I’ve liked Rami, but then I saw the way that he interacted with Sweet P…ugh. I never really cared for her, but on this latest challenge, I think she was right on. Rami’s dress needed some extra oomph, and her daywear dress was beautiful.
I’m just not sure who to vote for now.

little update on my daughter
I wrote previously about my oldest daughter having strabismus, and her school doing an eye exam and her possibly having her eyes out of alignment. Still stressed about it.
So I called her Pediatric Opthamologist to schedule an appointment, only to find out that the earliest one is in April. A-FREAKING-PRIL. Are they trying to kill me? I think they are. They’re located by the Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City and due to the ice storm, OKCity and Tulsa are basically without power. Whick sucks for them, but is way suckier for me.
She’s a little worried that she might have to wear glasses, but is okay with picking out a pretty pair if she has to. I don’t want to tell her that she very well may have to have another eye surgery. Man this sucks. Sucks large monkey balls.

Finished
oh man, I finished New Moon by Stephanie Meyers and it was totally yummy. Loved it. Now onto Eclipse, I’m only a few chapters into it, but I’m very curious as to how it turns out. And a part of me wants Bella to end up with Jacob.
Man, I love a good book.

I’m reading the second of Stephanie Meyer’s series, I loved the first one Twilight, and I bought the second and third at a bookstore on my trip out of town. I’m only a few chapters into New Moon, but I’m loving it. LOVING IT.

so tired!
We drove 2 hrs away to go to a mall and while we were there we let the kiddos ride the train. They loved it. Seriously, I thought we were going to have to get a crowbar to pry them out of it.
We went to a Super KMart (we don’t have one in our town) and I got the oldest kiddo a globe for Christmas. The checker thought I was crazy for buying it for her..what does she know?
Anywhoodle, very tired. Must sleep
